Whenever Lori Asks for Samples, I Crack Up

Some poster a while ago wrote a thread about how Lori is always overly eager to get her hands on some samples. It basically looks like she's a greedy SWAG-fiend.

So now whenever she's the first one to ask for samples--as she almost always IS when the pitcher hasn't already provided them--I crack up...

It just looks like Lori's over there "Give me free stuff!" Since she rarely NEEDS to look at a product up close to see if it's for her.

She has--by far--the most limited range of stuff she's interested in or specializes in. She basically looks at a product as something she can sell on QVC or it isn't, and if it isn't, she's almost never interested. It kind-of just feels like she enjoys free stuff.

By contrast, Robert is always the first to try out a "fun" product or something that will make himself look cool, but this actually seems relevant to his offers since Robert seems to be the most swayed by investing in something he likes personally or thinks is "cool."

Typically, the inventor has barely finished their pitch and Lori's like GIMME GIMME GIMME

I know! I've literally started laughing every time she does this since someone on this board pointed it out.

Recently, the dude with the ear plugs for musical events had not finished his pitch when she was like "Can we see samples?"

And--of course--she didn't invest because most QVC viewers wouldn't even go to a concert,, so it was pretty much pointless.

She's like a greedy kid in a candy store more than she really NEEDS to see the samples.

She does seem to do it quickly. Like, obviously they are going to give out samples so you can accurately gauge the product. Do the sharks keep the samples? On expensive items, I doubt the business owner can afford/wants to give out 5 $100+ samples, but obviously someone looking to invest wants to at least look over what they are investing in.
