I don't understand the point of some of the story lines they give Manny. Do the writers think it's funny to be attracted to your aunt? Do they think it's funny to start loving communism because you think a girl is cute? I don't get it. Are they trying to make us laugh, or do they just want us to think he's an idiot?
shareHe, like many boys, will go to extreme lengths to get a girl. Poetry, clothing, etc. In his case they are just using that for comedic purposes, though often times weak. Notice that the commie thing only lasted 1 episode. The plot device worked much better when he was younger. Now he just seems desperate. And as with most boys, once fatty gets laid his awkwardness will subside

There's just no use for Manny anymore, or Alex for that matter. Luke completely stole the show from him this past episode. People complain about Luke but I love his sense of humor and his dumb voice. Manny hasn't been funny since season 5 at best, and he is getting bigger every year.
