Hayley should have had a baby with somebody at some point

Hayley should have had a baby with somebody by now. I think that would have gave the show a very interesting and funny new angle. Clair and Phil being grandparents. Gloria and Jay being great grandparents. The babies being whatever they'd be(Hayley's baby and Joe). I think it would have been funny watching Hayley spaz out as a young mother but still being herself only with a baby. Alex and Luke's relationship with their new niece/nephew.

The pregnancy alone would have been good for a whole season. Her taking pregnant selfies and all...I know people hate Dylan but watching him be a dad and officially part of the family would have been funny. But then if it was with Andy, there's good storylines with that scenario as well.

It would certainly be in line with the narrative they've pushed since the show's inception that Hayley is mirroring her mother's transition from party girl to adult, but I've always advocated if any of the kids should become pregnant it should be Alex. Her having to reconcile her persona and goals with the combinative challenges of early motherhood would make for the most interesting storytelling.

Given her party personality it's kind of amazing Hayley hasn't been pregnant yet. Or at lest had a pregnancy scare.

Can't remember the episode, but I seem to recall Haley saying she had a pregnancy scare after prom. Plus, we've seen Claire provide birth control for her, and I assume that wasn't the first time.

I don't think it would have gave much to the show. I'd agree if it would have gave even a little goose to MF. But I don't think it would have gave very much because Hayley would need to curtail her wild side.

But you have gave me much to consider. If you hadn't gave me that I would not care much for your post.
