Fast talker or speech impediment?

Anyone ever notice how fact Dr. Oz talks on his show? It's like he's trying to get out tons of scripted material out in 30 second time blocs. That must be frustrating for him.

Sometimes it sounds like he's mashing words together, almost like a speech impediment. I wonder if second language English speakers have trouble understanding what he's saying, because he really talks fast.

I agree w/ you. He does talk fast, AND he has a minor speech impediment.

I think he may have stated that he stuttered when he was a child.

Also, I don't know if English was his first language, it may have been Turkish.
