Doctor Oz, babbling on about bubonic plague coming and what you have to do to protect yourself. Yeah right. and these asswipe women in the audience, all gasping, and clapping their hands over they're gaping pie holes, all horrified. Does anyone in that audience have a brain in their simple minded head?

There is actually a guy they hire to make them gasp and clap and cheer. They do it for dramatic affect for TV.
shareI'll bet that's true. When I went to see an Oprah taping, someone came out ahead of the show and instructed us how to react for television. Just like a bunch of monkeys.

That's probably the only thing I hate about the show. They have these women acting like teenage groupies whenever he's around them, like he's a rockstar or something. Maybe they're just not use to having a man giving them the attention they desparately need. They'd trade their husbands/boyfriends in for Dr. Oz if they could.

My MIL worships this man and all the crap he spouts. She keeps telling us “Dr. Oz said this, Dr. Oz said that.” If we don’t listen to Dr. Oz then we are going to die. Eventually my husband cracked one day and told her he doesn’t give a damn what Dr. Oz says and Dr. Oz is just there to scare her so he can make money. She was not happy when he said that.
Yeah, now these morons won't buy apple juice anymore!

shareAlthough I have seen this guy on OPRAH (and each time he seemed obsessed with one's bathroom habits), the other day was the first time I watched his show.
It BEGAN with the audience gasping, just as others have said, about ARSENIC IN APPLE JUICE.
Although I don't put much past the Food And Drug Administration, I listened carefully to what "Dr." Oz said. Within the first two minutes, he used two words that defeat any arugument as being concrete.
"The apple juice you buy COULD contain arsenic...." It could, and it could not.
"...MAY be harmful at certain levels..." It may be, and may not be.
And WHAT level are you (is he) talking about.
I flipped the channgel but had to go back awhile later, and just as someone has already stated, he was doing the statistics.
He was giving out numbers, I remember "32" in partiular. "32" compared to WHAT?
This is the kind of guy who just preys on people who can't think for themselves, about half (if even that) listen, and don't have any concept of reason.
Of course he an "Oprah" protegee so I suppose the show will go on for twenty years.
And as an aside, I was at the grocery today and asked the clerk if anyone had complained about their apple juise and I was told, "No."

I didn't ask the clerk's "opinion," I asked for a fact; if anyone had complained.
A fact is different from an opinion, but since you listen to "Dr." Oz, then I wouldn't expect you to know the difference.
This show will NOT last as many years as Oprah's did. You can only spout off "American you're too fat!" for so long before people get sick of hearing it. And there's no Favorite Things segment. If there were, what would it be? Catheters and colostomy bags??

Wow...if you don't like the show, don't *beep* watch it. Why come here and gripe about it??? Also, to insult an audience of people that you don't know??? If people didn't watch it, the show wouldn't be on the air...simple as that! Get a life! You all are the losers.
