A friend showed me the first two episodes and I was pretty into it, but I watched them aware that it only has one season. I know this happens to a lot of good shows but does the show make sense with one stand alone season or does the season finale wrap things up pretty good in case it were to be cancelled like it did...?
shareSadly, "FlashForward" ends its one and only season on an epic cliffhanger with no clear ending in sight. If you've enjoyed the series so far, I'd say keep watching because the series only got better from there. In my honest opinion, I think ABC made the wrong decision in cancelling this in favor of "V" (which in turn was also cancelled) because I believe the writers only got to scratch the surface on all the possible material that could have been gained with future seasons. I found a really great video from this past year's Comic-Con where a few of the writers of the show explained where they planned on going for future seasons (along with planned ideas for other cancelled shows like "Firefly", "Dollhouse", etc.). I'd recommend watching it after you've finished the series as it contains some pretty interesting plans for the future. Enjoy!
