So sad it was cancelled because the book sucks!

Ok let me clarify, I didn't finish the book because the writing is horrible. There's something about Robert J Sawyer that drives me nuts: he has FANTASTIC sci-fi ideas, he's even won some awards, but I can't stand the way he writes and never get past Chapter 2. Maybe I'll try again one day, but that's why I was so excited for Flashfoward! Great idea - executed wonderfully...but now that it's cancelled I may have to force myself to read the rest of the novel...

what planet are you on?
It was one of the best novels I ever read. I read it in 1994 and it was such a page turner that I couldn't put it down.
The series on the other hand was a massive disappointment.

I didn't even know it was a book. I'm going to watch it over the weekend, just to see the first 7 episodes with Lee Thompson Young. I didn't even realise that he had been in that as I had never seen the show.

RIP Lee Thompson Young. Too young and gone too soon!
