Sarasota Film Festival screening
My wife and I attended a screening last evening at the SFF (Florida) and we both fell in love with it from the get-go. The theme seems so simplistic that it might turn people away and that would be a shame because the script, the cast and the direction are all superb.
The film deftly balances the humor with the poignancy - not an easy task. And as one poster who attended a screening in Glasgow mentioned - the audience found it difficult at times to discern the difference and we found them laughing at inappropriate moments. We will root for it to find its audience and receive the attention it deserves.
