This movie was robbed of so many Academy Award nominations, it's not even funny.

Best Film
Best Adapted Screenplay
Best Actor
Best Supporting Actor
Best Actress
Best Supporting Actress
Best Original Song
Best Cinematography
Best Editing
Best Production Design
Best Costume Design.

The one that irks me the most is Best Original Song. Come on, they practically just nominated all "The Muppets" songs! They could have given a few spots to Alex Turner's wonderful contributions! And hell, in place of "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" they could have put "Submarine" in its place!

Its because its not american... oh and the Academy Awards is notorious for praising movies that in reality arent that good. As a film maker i would rather get praise in Cannes, that festival seems to be more honest about films artistic merit.
