Seriously, folks

Don't be so pretentious when criticizing this movie. When you see at the very start that it was made in co-operation with Hasbro, what do you honestly expect? It was just a fun romp that was silly, stupid, corny, and everything a fun movie is supposed to be. I enjoyed it for what it was rather than dissing it for what it wasn't.

I watched it, sorta enjoyed them going old school at the end with the retired navy back at their old stations. Just cause its old, doesn't mean it still can't kick arse.

I saw The Fury and that way lies spooky carnival death

I like it. It's a fun popcorn movie. It's not Shakespeare, but who wants to watch Shakespeare all the time?

Honestly, as a female, this movie was not at the top of my list...then it came on HBO last year...I watched it...and now it's on again...and I watched it...two times..not sure why this works for me...but I am hooked...dumb.

I liked it too, I LMAO during parts I'm sure the filmmaker's didn't intend for me to. It was full of improbabilities and plot holes, but I only expected a fun time, and that's what I got. I got to see an Iowa class battleship in action for maybe the last time in my life! Worth my $1.75 on Blu-Ray. Too many people seem to think there was a point to the aliens, other than cannon fodder. Miss. Miss. Hit. Hit. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Just watched it again. I really enjoy this movie. Don't understand why people cannot shut off their brains for 2 hours and enjoy a movie. You know this is not winning any wards and they don't promise you anything except *beep* blowing up.

Especially when you consider, reading some of the comments, that some of these people never had their brains on to begin with.
