Worst alien sci-fi to date

I have seen a lot of alien / sci-fi movies and in all honesty this movie really sucked the most. What's worse is I knew the whole time I was watching it it was terrible yet I like to give movies the benefit of the doubt hoping they'll redeem themselves somewhere along the lines.

I read the bad reviews a while back, stayed away, never invested a dime and finally saw this movie on HBO on an evening when I had nothing better to do and still I feel really cheated out of two hours of my life. Sleep would have been more fulfilling... The fact that some people are even comparing this movie with Independence day and Pacific Rim is just hideous

Dude....no. The movie is not great by any stretch of the imagination, but there have been worse alien sci-fi movies. Right off the top of my head, I can name Battlefield Earth, Alien v. Predator, and Skyline

I thought Skyline was a lot better than Battleship. In fact, Skyline is a gem of a movie!

I have seen many a bad sci fi film and this was average which makes it better than a lot of the others.

Its that man again!!
