Borrows lots from TG - Navy instead of Air Force, soccer instead of volleyball. Updated music rocks - ACDC instead of Kenny Loggins. Awesome visuals and cinematography. The colors and special effects are amazing. Showcases our Navy and weaponry like never before. Oh yeah...and the aliens!

I respectfully disagree. Black Hawk Down is far and away one of the best Military movies since Top Gun.

Tears of the Sun, Black Hawk Down, We Were Soldiers, pretty much every military themed movie since Top gun is better than this.

I like the salute to the veterans and the wounded warriors. That they used real veterans is just a real nice bonus.

Agreed!!

I thought the fact that this movie used actual active duty military, veterans, and wounded warriors (including the Director of the Wounded Warrior Program) should have been part of this movie's marketing blitz. The majority of the people who saw this movie have no idea.

You're too fraking stupid to know that Top Gun was Navy as well. Not Air Force.

You want Air Force, go watch Iron Eagle you dumb sh!t.

And this is one of the worst, most insulting piece of film garbage about the military, to ever make it to the big screen. (not counting cheesy direct to video crap)

I joined the Navy to see the world, only to discover the world is 2/3 water!
