stupid ending

I really hate how directors love giving us unhappy endings in horror films. Is it supposed to give us a great punchline? To piss us off? Great! Or are we supposed to root for Cesar and love that he got away with murder? Sorry, not buying it. I hate unhappy endings as they are an exercise in nihilism. I'm not watching this ever again. Only a sadistic director would ever come up with such an ending.

agree.

there's subject that interesting in this film but it should be more well devolped. I really hate the ending, it could be more powerful with different ending.

I'm sure they will do an American remake where he will get the death sentence so they audience can cheer.

I thought it was a happy ending.

you're a *beep* idiot if you thought this movie had a happy ending. But then again we are living in a world where *beep* are hiding behind facades and playing out their sick little fantasies in any way possible. Smfh.

Yeah, everything should have a happy ending so that you're not upset. Great idea.

I liked the ending.

Didn't she essentially win in the end because her innate goodness allowed her to keep loving her baby? ie Cesar's madness didn't break her?
