I Rub MY Duckie...
...Hilarious!
For those who didn't stay around for the credits they showed images of anti-hysteria devices next to the credits and the last one was "I Rub My Duckie" no doubt with a "heart" somewhere around the "Rub." I thought I've seen everything in my long life but somehow I missed the vibrating duck. Oh well, I suppose paroxysms go on and on and on...
What an interesting film. The writer and director gave us a bit of history that obviously we couldn't do without, along with humor which we all need. They even mixed in some lessons on capitalism that's sorely needed in these economic times.
WoW! I have to admit I feel totally satisfied if not somewhat spent from all the arduous journeys the film put us through. And even the Queen, God bless her soul, needed some relief from the humdrum life of ruling the motherland. Don't know how she found the time with the sun never setting on the empire. At least she didn't have to worry about being up all night.
Whew, I need to retire and get some rest. Uh huh!
