Saw this movie acople of minutes ago (Review is coming up) and i liked it alot. A pretty intense haunted house flick, no more, no less. FFS if you cant enjoy agood horror flick, go watch some Bergman or maybe an art flick with naked people on a roof, eating eggs for two hours..in black and white!
So to those who are in doubt, watch it, its nothing special but a good horror film.

Watching it now. I have to watch it during the day because then I wouldnt be able to sleep at night lol. I agree with someone who said it essentially has a Grudgest feel to it. None the less I am excited to see it.

Ha ha nice. Ok listen, i am 40+ and have enjoyed all kind of horror movies since i was a kid. By that i dont concider myself to have a bad taste in movies.I Like everything from obscure Ittenbach movies, to Fulci and Romero.(Mind i dont only watch horror flicks) Yeah, maybe i whine, but only if there is a reason for it. Im plain tired of everybody trashing all kind of acceptable movies on Imdb. Oh its not original! Oh Robert Englund isnt gonna play Freddy, Oh its a remake!And the worst, people who trash movies wich isnt even out yet. This is gonna suck! To clarify things, I don't have a problem with you liking The Apparition. I do have a problem with your logic of complaining about whiners/haters.
All those arguments about people whining/hating certain movies because they lack the capacity to enjoy them is monumentally ridiculous.
Or applying someones hate towards a particular movie to his overall attitude towards an entire genre of movies is pretty illogical.

Well, when people complain about movies that isnt even out yet i think im entiteld to call them whiners. And sometimes i think its uncalled for, like the case with the noes remake, it was hated even before it came out. Sure it didnt turn out as good as it could, but at least i gave it a chance. Same goes for Mad Max thunder road for an example. And i think this movie has been to trashed, it aint that bad. Sure its to slow for the adhd generation, but its much better than as said earlier Parnormal activity, the tiredsome torture porn movies and alot of direct to dvd crap ( looking at you The Asylum)

I just watched it and it seemed to be a good movie.....but then it ended too quick. I wanted more. I equate it to having sex with no climax.....you're left feeling unfulfilled!
I hope that I didn't offend anyone....that wasn't my intention. Hopefully there will be a part two?
