It's like a wannabe 'Pulse' (spoilers)

This was stupid. The characters, the dialogue, the score...everything was just based so far outside of reality. Pathetic. "I'll just install these security cameras" today. Right. Because that's just something you can pick up and install for in a day for cheap. Strange happenings going on in the house? "Let's stay in it!"

EDIT: Oh I see, the guy installs home theaters so he must have access to security cameras too. Makes total sense/sarcasm. And while we're on electronics, the entire premise of the film is based on these headsets that amplify brainwaves or something? Or as one of the characters put it, they "amplify belief". Just, I don't even...it's just so stupid. The supposed reality footage, edited so nice and neat...I can't believe the writer/director actually thought this through. Everything about this film is horrifying...except the plot.

EDIT 2: Hahaha...Oh this keeps getting better. The "expert guy" says, let's "play the original session in reverse" and amp up this BS unexplained headset thing to 400,000 "belief-bytes". That should do it. This movie...it's just getting laughable now. The expert guy has a working blueprint of the house on his computer...hahaha...this is a joke, right?
