I enjoyed it anyway. I rather what these Lovecraftian movies over the stupid slasher, cannibals and inbred killers.

I liked it and it had a few things similar but didnt really remind me of one particular movie, I mean you could take any movie in the world of any genre and say it has a scene similar to any other movie! For the most part movies try to usually put everyday people into extraordinary circumstances so there are going to be some things that can't help but be similar, I didn't think anything was to copied tho to make it look like a ripoff. I actually thought it was pretty common idea made in an original way
