Filming locations?

I tripped out yesterday when I watched this film. Just before he makes his first kill, he slams on the brakes and exits the the car on Devonshire Blvd in front of "The Munch Box" in Chatsworth California. Not the said Downtown Bakersfield. I was like wow, I eat their and I buy my groceries at that Ralphs in the backround. Then he enters an office building (I dont know how because he would have walked into a hotel). Just curious why they would pick such an odd location when it doesnt seem like anything else was filmed anywhere near here.

I think the studios get cuts for using certain historic locations such as the munch box. Also, the sign for the restaurant was clearly visible towards the bottom. The sign is not actually located there.

We used to make sh-t in this country. Build sh-t. Now we put our hands in the next guys pocket.
