I love Dwayne Johnson. He's a decent actor. That having been said, the film lost me because of his first line 'where's the exit'.
I mean you're a prisoner for christsake! You'd know the prison like the back of your hand. Yeah we get it, youre eager to get outta there and do what youre gonna do.
But I really couldn't get over that fact, I turned it off 3 minutes later.
Too bad.
Good film, not great, solid 7/10.
He was being a smartass... he knew where the exit was obviously, it was just his way of saying 'just shut up and let me go.' Too bad you turned it off, but I'm looking forward to seeing the movie you write.

As soon as the production company logo appeared at the beginning of the opening credits the film lost me, it just really took me out of the movie... I just couldn't get over that fact. I turned it off.

shareI didn't really like the film on first viewing, but the second time was so much better. It kind of reminded me of Action films from the 70s/80s, it just had that feel to me and it was great. Like 2004s "The Punisher" with Thomas Jane was kind of a 70s/80s throwback to Action films.
