Cicero covering up Slade's corruption?

I guess that the reason Cicero covered up Slade's corruption since she probably didn't want his actions to affect his pension which would have hurt Marina and his son in a big way.

Lame ass reason. She's a cop and she should have done the right thing. If the cop was corrupt they probably had money stashed away that they scammed anyways.

I agree! It's a lame ass reason. I doubt Marina was getting much in the way of child support and/or alimony anyway; she could raise her son just fine. By bringing closure and naming Cop as involved, could even more create mitigating circumstances for Driver and if caught, get life instead of death. Though I hope he never gets caught! Mexico is calling!

The corruption in police agencies needs to be exposed in order for it to be rooted out. Some cops now think they can get away with stuff like they used to, but with the explosion in the number of cameras the general public has readily available, the hammer is coming down now because they didn't work on cleaning it up all along.
