Kill Bill?? The general plot was the same as Kill Bill, except with a guy. Guy left for dead by a gang, recovers and murders all who were involved one by one ... anyone else get that vibe??
It had some terrible moments, but it didn't bother me enough to hate the movie. Decent.
Yeah, I got the Kill Bill vibe as well, so you're not alone. Tarantino didn't invent the revenge flick, though, I mean, that's been around since film began -- Kill Bill just fused together all the most awesome bits of the genre.
The bride wouldn't have balked @ that hit on the preacher, unlike the Rock... just saying. Beatrix Kiddo is badass!

Reminded me more of The Punisher to be honest. The whole "I lost my family and got left for dead, so now I'm gonna kill everyone involved" kinda deal

shareFaster did remind me of Kill Bill(especially the son of the guy killed called Driver, kinda reminded of Nikki from Kill Bill) & The Punisher (Tom Jane), though Punisher: Warzone sucked ass big time. You can also bring up Man on Fire, then again, Driver, Kiddo, Creasy & Punisher were all badass!

sharei got a vibe like they were trying to make a tarantino or rodriguez esq movie, but it in no way reminds me of kill bill, does kill bill remind you of the high plains drifter? or one of any dozen revenge movies that have the basic story of person gets revenge on those that leave em for dead. that is the basic storyline for lots and lots of revenge or explotation movies.

Yeah, I thought of Kill Bill too. Also at the part where the guys son says he will come after him reminds me a lot of the bit with Vernita's daughter in Kill Bill. But, I enjoyed the movie though.

the plot also reminded me of The Crow, Not the movie, or the main character, just the whole, group of guys attack someone, kill them, comes back to life to take revenge,
the reason that it reminds me of the crow movies is because Kill bill has a lot of backstory and a lot of stuff going on, as well as the flashbacks,
Punisher also has a lot of preparing for the kills, a lot of stuff going on as well,
the crow, he comes back from the dead and starts killing then right away, without really stopping, Like i Said, The concept reminded me, the movies look nothing alike, but the whole killing them one by one without stopping or without caring of consequences did remind me
