Easily the best comic movie of all time...
when you consider the budget. Completely entertaining, original and awesome.

shareI concur.
shareNot in a million years will Deadpool EVER be considered the best comic book movie of all time. That title belongs to the Dark Knight.
shareThe Dark Knight is quite good, but it falls apart in its final act. There are a number of better comic book films.
shareI wouldn't say it falls apart in the final act. There's some silly over-convolution with the Joker's plots, but The Dark Knight is a really great movie and quite an achievement.
Deadpool's great, too, though.
I wonder just where I'd rank The Dark Knight in a list of all the best comic book movies....
shareThat ranking would change for me almost daily. It's hard to rate some of them versus others. For instance, do you stack up Dick Tracy with The Crow?
My gut feelings right now are:
1. Logan
2. Joker
3. Batman Returns/ Batman '89
4. Watchmen
5. Dick Tracy
6. The Dark Knight
7. The Crow
8. Road to Perdition
9. Spiderman 2
10. 300
I was sticking to superhero-y type movies. I haven't seen Ghost World, but I wouldn't have considered it. A History of Violence was out, too. I did throw Road to Perdition on there... whatever. It's my list. It changes a lot, too.
I tend to think of super-hero comic book movies as their own genre, and would have trouble ranking them in relation to more "real world' fare like Ghost World. That said, I think our lists are very different. I haven't seen Dick Tracy since it came out, but remember being very unimpressed. The Crow has fun moments, but it's more like an unintentional comedy for the most part.
The more thought I give to this, the more I realize how much the MCU dominates the super-hero comic book movie. I might fine-tune this given more time and thought, but my initial top 10 looks like this:
1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
2. Spider-Man: Homecoming
3. The Avengers
4. Avengers: Infinity War
5. Thor: Ragnarok
6. Spider-Man: Far From Home
7. Guardians of the Galaxy
8. Captain America: Civil War
9. Superman
10. The Dark Knight
Very, very different lists. I haven't seen much of the MCU. I thought the first Iron Man film was great and the first Avengers film was really great, too (it does bubble into my top 10 depending on my mood), but I was straight-up bored by most of them. Infinity War, for instance, had me dreadfully antsy during my viewing of it. I found that they were kind of just treadmilling over the same film with slight variations; it got tedious for me.
shareGhost World is really, really good.
shareNot sure why liking a movie should involve the budget
shareNot even close.
shareNot even the top 5.
shareAgree. Not sure why you mention budget though. I have no idea what the budget was, but it was far better than those iron man avengers capt America crap. Those movies are unwatchable.
I think the Sam Rami spider man was a pretty good movie.

You're an idiot. This isn't even the best comic book movie of the year, let alone of all time.
shareI loved it but don’t think anything will ever top 1978’s Superman.
