The generator scenes...SPOILER
They could have shut the generator off while taking it to the site in the helicopter. Even at brutally cold temps outside, the inside of the helicopter would have been warm enough that the generator would have been just fine. A very stupid scene. A fictional addition among many.
If your nose runs and your feet smell, you were built upside down.
