This show had such a good feel for a while then it was like suddenly the writers got lazy. I started off loving every character and now I find them all to be annoying. They're all basically the same. Not much growth.
And I'm already sick of Bo's love life. I never really cared but I get it.

Yeah, same here. I thought season 3 was still good (I really liked the introduction of Tamsin's character) and then season 4 started going off the rails, lol. Season 5 is not that great either!
shareI think season 3 suffered because some in the writers room decided that Bo's love life was more important than her journey to discover who she is and I think elements that they had set up where curbed because it didn't mesh with the romance angle. I think originally we were supposed to get a Bo that took a bit of a walk on the dark side and really explored her powers, but that wouldn't mesh with her also being lovey dovey so they pulled back and used the Dawning as an excuse for her bad behavior in the beginning.
But I did love the addition of Tamsin as she was, someone that said exactly what she thought and wasn't just immediately on "team Bo" and doing whatever she wanted. She called Bo out on her crap and Bo needs someone like that to balance out all the inexplicable adoration by everyone else.
