Bo has always had a "soft spot" (tee hee) for humans. What if now that Lauren is fae, that love for her wont be there as strongly. Maybe I'm speculating on that too deeply. Thoughts?

That's where miss Kenzi. She was there not only as her bff but also as a reminder of how precious human life is. This will be an interesting twist to see how Father Dearest really feels about his little baby Bo.

Yeah. You're speculating too deeply (and maybe with a little assist from wishful anti-Lauren bias, perhaps).

Lauren is not fae. And if you'd paid attention to the dialog between Bo and her after Lauren sirened Zee, you would have heard Bo say to Lauren: "I love you for who you are as a person. I don't care if you're human or Fae. As long as you're you."

reply

But being fae (or fae adjacent) can change Lauren and Bo knows this. How much of Lauren's humanity, a part of her personality that Bo loves, will be ruined once she really starts to accept what she can do with her power now? Lauren might not stay the same person now that she's taken such a drastic step to stay with Bo regardless if she's technically human or not.

And framing it as "anti-Lauren bias" is a ridiculous accusation just because someone is musing on an actual plot point that does change a character and could have longer implications for that character other than "oh look at what she can do!". Especially since the conversation you quoted was laden with foreshadowing that all is not OK with what she did or how Bo feels about it.

I was just reminded of when Hale became the Ash and he turned into somewhat of an A-hole. Lauren told him, "I guess it isn't true what the say about power. It doesn't change them. It reveals them." So maybe she will stick to her old advice. Or maybe she won't and Bo will come in and save her from Hades. Who knows, but with only 6 eps left, anything can happen. And I am 100% team Lauren. I just over speculate on these things cause I really want Doccubus to be endgame.

I did not "frame" it as anti-Lauren bias. Read it again. I said "maybe with a little assist from wishful anti-Lauren bias, perhaps." You either have a reading comprehension problem, or you're just plain lazy at reading a bunch of words and shoot from the hip when something sparks your attention.

I base my opinions about someone's motives based on what they, themselves, add to their own comments -- which this one was followed with Kenzi "was there not only as her bff but also as a reminder of how precious human life is." There are two humans that have had center stage in Bo's story: Kenzi and Lauren.

Bo falling in love with Lauren, and being aware of how Lauren sacrificed her freedom to find a cure for Nadia's mysterious comatose state, is as much a reminder of how precious human life is, as is Kenzi's story.

Both Kenzi and Lauren have put their lives at risk for Bo's benefit.

When you only remember one and/or fail to acknowledge the other, there is a little bias at play, whether you face that mirror or not.

Holy. If I would have known a silly question would turn into jabs about my reading comprehension then I never would have brought it up. My apologies.

I think you should familiarize yourself with how IMDb forums work.

In IMDb, when you reply to a specific comment the reply is automatically tabbed below the comment you're replying to. All replies to that same comment are tabbed at the same margin, cascading down:

COMMENT
--> Reply #1
--> Reply #2
--> Reply #3

When you reply to one of the comments in this cascading series of replies, your reply will appear tabbed beneath that comment:

COMMENT
--> Reply #1
--> --> Reply to #1
--> Reply #2
--> Reply #3
--> --> Reply to #3

So ...... notice how in the series of replies, the comment is not tabbed under yours? That's because it was not a reply to yours.

reply

Then again ......... you could be a sockpuppet. Because I find it interesting that the first sentence of my comment begins with "I did not "frame" it as anti-Lauren bias" -- which partially quotes the comment I specifically replied to -- yet you didn't connect the dots when you read it and posted your response.

Freud, pick up your slip.
