First Impressions: Like Father, Like Daughter
Alright, so I was finally able to watch episode 5x10 today. So I'm a little late with this post, but here are some thoughts:
- Kenzi came back! Other regular posters here probably already know she is my favorite character, so I was very happy to have her back, even just for a little bit.
- I was glad to see Bo and Kenzi be able to go on one of their capers together, especially since it was probably for the last time.
- Kenzi was great as the fake tour guide. Her attempts to convince people about the Swedish flag painting was almost Constanza-like.
- Bo sneezing on the OCD lady was awesome, a little cruel perhaps, but awesome nevertheless.
- I really dislike Mark. Just threw his Dad under the bus. Irresponsible and stupid decision there.
- I do like Dyson and Alycia together, glad to see them work things out at the end.
- I'm on Bo's side on this Lauren change. It's a little too radical.
- As a plot device though, I'm still on the fence about it. It could lead to some interesting stuff in the next few episodes, but I think I would prefer Lauren go back to being her human self before the show ends.
- What the hell is Hades up too? Ok, sorry for the terrible pun, but seriously he sounded very sinister at the end of the episode.
- I still like him as a character though, think he is becoming a very good villain. Hope they can keep it up.
Overall, I enjoyed the episode. It wasn't spectacular, but it had some good moments and like I've mentioned several times, Kenzi being back was a plus. It was nice to get a few Trick scenes too, he hasn't done enough this season. I'll say a B or a B+.
