Anybody hoping Lauren gives Kenzi powers?

I know Ksenia left the show and all, but I'm not buying the human lifestyle for her, especially with her living as a Zamora...We all saw it in Season 4 and her faux - sparkie powers. Yes, Hale died, and that changed her attitude, but wouldn't it be awesome if Kenzi became fae in the finale?

Basically ... NO.

So basically you're saying that you want Lauren to give Kenzi Parkinson's disease.

They never clarified if it was the serum and being a conduit that gave Lauren Parkinson's disease or if it just sped up something that was going to happen to her eventually. But they did imply that being a conduit was shortening her lifespan. So I too am in the "no" camp, if the only way Kenzi could have powers is to mean she has a shorter life.

I disagree, I don't want Kenzi to have Fae powers. I think being human is too central to her character.

I think it'd be interesting to have something happen where Kenzi is still human, but immortal. Such as someone cursing her to be frozen in time as far as aging goes, in order to punish Bo/co. for something, because that would mean Kenzi is FOREVER a vulnerable mortal. No powers, so abilities, no healing factors, just a human who'll never age another day.

Or because of the whole Valhalla thing, she can't age anymore, she's frozen where she was when she died. She can still be killed and can still be hurt, just like any other human, she just won't age. Then as fans, we know that Dyson, Bo, etc. would all fight to keep her safe, while also setting up the idea that she'll never have to be separated from Bo, Dyson, and the gang (whatever is left of it by the end) because she's ageless. It also would have the tragedy that unless she's killed, she'll never see Hale again, while also making her the permanent target for hurting Bo-- her pet human.

Sorry if this seems out of nowhere. It popped into my head, the idea of Kenzi ending up immortal, ever since she sent her human boyfriend away then asked Bo if she could stay in Bo's room and cry on her bestie's shoulder. The whole "cursed to immortality as a strike against Bo/Dyson/etc." was something that popped into my head when she took the chainsaw to the Norn's tree to get Dyson's love (for Bo) back. Dyson's whole thing about how she's the strongest person he's ever known (after the body-switching) despite her frail little body (that needed glasses), I think had a part in setting up the idea in my head of her being in a perfect position to be cursed to be an ageless mortal they would all have to protect for eternity.
