Is Zoie Palmer Pregnant?

I've looked all over but don't see any mention of whether she is, but lately it looks like they are hiding a pregnancy on Lost Girl. Lauren is now in lots of loose draped clothing, and depending on how she moves it really looks like she's hiding a baby bump. There's a scene in the Yellow Trick Road episode where she crosses her arms and it really makes it look like she has a stomach.

Has anyone else noticed this, or does anyone know anything about it? It's also possible that I'm just seeing things though :-)

I don't think so. She episodes were filmed a while ago I'm sure we would have heard by now if she was. Or maybe she's just very private.

No, Zoie in real life was not and is not pregnant. Right after Lost Girl finished filming, Zoie did various Con's around the USA and she wore her usual form fitting clothing. She was also cast as the skinny android in Dark Matter. She wore a tight fitting outfit for that character. I can't speak as to why they relaxed her clothing in Lost Girl but Zoie herself is not pregnant on the show. Maybe it is just to get people wondering if Lauren is pregnant.

Actually having watched the episodes, I think she was. These episodes were filmed a while ago. Before Dark Matter. But she hasn't said anything so obvs wants to keep her privacy.

The problem with that is that Zoie has been one of the most frequent ComicCon celebs and she always wears tight fitting clothes. She goes to several Cons a year. At no time has she looked anything but slim and fit.

Just because a costumer chooses to put a character in flowing clothes, does not mean she is pregnant.

But, feel free to think what you want.

It wasn't just the clothes, she was constantly hiding behind things. But I guess we'll never know for sure.

I thought that too. You can definitely see some more volume on her belly in all episodes if you take a very close look. But I have researched about it everywhere with no luck on any comments. Besides, I don't know when they started shooting the second part of the last season of Lost Girl, but on Dark Matter, she looks pretty sharp, if I'm note wrong they shot from Jan to May 2015. Also her pictures from these past days look like she's slim. She's been filming two shows + all the public appearances without a huge baby belly. I don't know but I would say she was not pregnant while filming it.

Zoie is a very private person so if she did have a child, she probably wouldn't announce it til she's ready. That being said, she could have been pregnant while filming the final episodes of Lost Girl. They were filming those last 8 episodes in Sept and Oct, and she did cancel an appearance at Dragoncon in Sept. She posted a tweet in Nov which could have been referring to having given birth to a baby. That tweet, plus a tweet from Amanda Brugel to Zoie, could have been about her giving birth. Dark Matter didn't start filming til Dec, so she could have lost her baby weight by then.

Its now January 2016, still nothing on it, but its clear from the way she looks and dresses and acts (hiding her mid section) on LG that she was pregnant at the time.

reply

Sorry. ZP was not pregnant. She appeared at various conventions during all of 2014 and 2015 and was photographed many times in tight fitting clothes. She is and was not preggers. Blame the ill fitting clothes on bad choices from the costume dept.

I am so tired of seeing warrdobe with negative ease. It isn't pretty and it isn't flattering for most people, even glamourous actresses, unless they're Photoshopped.

I think it's a reflection in fashion of Youth Cult. We're supposed to look like we just went through a growth spurt, and therefore our wrist bones stick out of our sleeves, and our sweaters won't quite cover our midsections, and our blouses son't button without pulling and gaping. Either that, or we just put on about ten pounds.

Zoie Palmer? This entire cast is full of beautiful women. My question, is why on this earth did they cast this troll to be a love interest to the leading lady? Dr lauren is 1 of the most ugliest actresses i've even seen. Nothing is attractive about her and i find it repulsive every love seen i see her in. I know i'm being harsh and even juvenile, but this cast is full of beautiful people in general and feel they could of done so much better than Zoie Palmer.

Pregnant? Who who impregnate this troll? Only a test tube or blind man, thats who. A normal man would need a bottle of extra strength viagra and 2 blindfolds plus a double bag on her head just to get it up.

If there was anything that i would have changed about this show, it would have been not casting this woeful monstrosity. Maybe as a 1 show troll black fae that received a horrible demise. She wouldn't of even need any make up.

While I dislike her character because she was always portrayed as weak and helpless, and I don't find her at all attractive, there is a HUGE difference between that and insulting A PERSON based on their appearance just because you don't think she fits into your own personal vision. Imagine if they'd said the same thing about your mother, how would you feel?

I don't know what your mother looks like, but given the diversity in this world, I'm sure we'd be likely to find at least one person who would say the same thing about your mother (or any other female relative who you're close with) as you said about Zoie. Would you enjoy seeing it posted on public forums? How would you feel if she actually found it and read it?

I'm not saying you're not entitled to your opinion, but maybe frame it differently?

We have enough appearance shaming in this world without offending someone who is probably a decent and perfectly nice human being.

You're a real piece of work.

and by that, I mean you're a sorry excuse for a human being.

*To Erika* Your response to them was WAYYY too polite.*
