My opinion on the whole show in a short version

I tend to write too much as people say so i will keep it not too long. So what made me interested in this show was the Season 1 DVD i got for fairly cheap at best buy. Funny enough i started the series in english, but then watch season 2 as it aired on TV in Quebec(one of the last thing that is not hockey that i watched on TV lol) Then i watch the rest "online" and in french. I still have my DVD of season 1, i think i will rewatch it just to compare english with french, but from what i remember the voices where not that different. Anyway

Speaking of season 1, been a while but still my favourite personally as i write this. It was better coordonated, flow was just better than the other seasons.

Season 2 was cool but dragged way too much, the Garuda was more or less presented as a big baddy but when you finish the show you realize he does not make that much sense with what follow... Also im sorry i dunno how its call in english, but when Bo has to go trough the process of becoming a full fay or whatever, i feel its a bit ridiculous that all fay have to do this, yet its never shown. Its like when she choose in season 1, she go in some weird trials and like its big deal, again did any other fay ever shown doing this? nah...

Season 3 had great build up, i enjoyed it, but the payoff of season 4 was such a let down...

Season 4, yes, the whole wanderer story arc, my god was it awfull. I mean it builded up so good but then ... this...

Season 5, after a disapointing season 4, i think its decent enough. I have some problem with Zeus and Hera, and there "Nix" darkness or i dunno, what was the point of that beside dragging a bit the season? Why Zeus was even there in the first place? Its like at some time she is good, other she is bad... meh... At the end they finally show Bo's father, after teasing us with the wanderer, and then the pirypus or whatever its call. I mean i have to rewatch season 4 down the road especially the end cause its been a while, but was not that super horse supose to be one big baddy or whatever... Turned out in the end its Bo somewhat and all.. weird a bit. I enjoyed Eric Roberts performance tough, classy yet vilainous. But the whole "he want to gain her trust, she want to fake it at the end" seem so disjoincted...

I will say at the end the series end decent enough for me to be happy. Vex is finally a good guy completely, Bo and Lauren settle altough i always prefered Dyson.

I am disapointed a bit Tamsin is dead, but somewhat expected it, but i didn't saw Trick's death coming tough.

Speakin of Trick, its one of my major grasp with the character. He always seemed to know everything yet did not reveal it... I mean he should had said to Bo right away he was her grand father...

Anyway, overall as i said im satisfied, but the show did felt very disjoincted and cheaply made at time, i think what kept me interest was that i really enjoyed Ksenia Solo's performances as Kenzi, and Anna Silk is sooooo beautifull and i liked her portrayal of the character too. I feel the show had better potential than the payoff in season 1, but turned out better than i expected in season 5 after season 4.

And finally, a funny thing, i somewhat do not understand the whole concept of the ash/morrigan. Kinda funny the ash changed every seasons more or less while the Morrigan remained the same til she became human. But then there was those ounamens or whatever they where call coming out of nowhere and then the ancient at the end of season 5. Kinda make the whole hiearchi a bit consufusing.

Anyway it was longer than i tough, but oh well... its still a short version for me(lol) of my opinion on the whole show. Will never be close to Buffy/Angel in term of "fantastic show" but probably on par with Charmed, it kinda have a similar siliness factor to it. But the fact the show had a different episode count almost every seasons felt a bit weird too.

Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
