Question.
Who's your least favorite of the series?
For me, my least favorite has ALWAYS been Bo and it might have to do with Anna Silk.
I've always watched the show because the supporting characters were more interesting than Bo.
Maybe it's how she was written, her being a succubus, or the acting chops of Silk, but I've never been a huge fan of Bo.
For me, every character outside of Bo is why I kept watching this show.
Lauren is terrible!! All she does is use Bo for her agenda and plays with her head, wow that human is just as bad a s the dark fae. I really, really, really dislike her, soooooooo much. Terrible, I say!!!!
shareThe only truly awful part of the series was Lauren and bo. I've never seen a couple of characters with less chemistry trying so hard to force a romantic storyline. And they kind of left Tamsin on the outside for too much of the series when to me she was the best character.

Lauren. The actress is terrible and not at all attractive. I stopped watching Dark Matter cuz of her.

Lauren was clumsy and awkward but ultimately she was too... "goodie two-shoes". It was painful to watch her scenes and I found myself not caring about her stories or arcs.
Bo is just a mary sue. It got very tiresome after the first season. I carried on for Kenzi and Dyson.

What's a "mary sue"? I've never heard of this term before!
For me, I pretty much liked all of the characters, especially The Morrigan and Vex, and Kenzi- of course. Bo had some great lines, she made me laugh every once in a while, plus I thought she was pretty sexy, so she was a-ok in my book too.
I wasn't really a huge Tamsin fan, I didn't see it between her and Bo. I was also not a huge Trick fan. meh.

A "Mary Sue" is a character who is bestowed with amazing skills and talents without any back story explaining how they achieved these skills.

I have always hated Lauren and the only reason I kept watching was to see if Bo ever came to her senses and ended up with Dyson. Lauren really made me sick to my stomach through every season. Every time I thought she was going to die I was happy only to be disappointed. At the end I felt cheated that she didn't end up with Dyson.
100% agreed. Watched about 3.5 seasons just waiting for her to die or leave, and after the second breakup, Bo really started to get on my nerve as well. Both hypocritical and egotistical and should've been done a whole different was. Only thing that kept me watching was Tamsin. Tamsin deserved so much more in the show!!
