they ruined Vex's character tonight

That is all.

He did have a penchant for wearing Bo's kimonos/robes, the ones that really showed his legs.

Vex was long since hinted as being bisexual. But for me there is little reason shown in the series that would imply that Mark would be the one his heart desires most.

His character was already ruined when they tried to make him good, imo.

I was hoping Vex was only acting effeminate to attract chicks.

When you live for thousands of years, it is only natural that you try everything that life has to offer. In my opinion, I think it is a little strange that they have kept Dyson, Hale (RIP) and Trick totally straight. Not that I mind, but I agree that it was nice to show Vex as not only gay, but also showing that he can care for someone other than himself. I know that some people don't like that he is not an a**hole anymore, but I think that shows personal growth. I like that even after thousands of years of being a dick, some good people can come into his life and change him.

I never understood the argument that living for centuries must mean it only makes sense to have same sex attraction (I've seen it used for Amanda Tapping's character on Sanctuary too). Are there real centuries old people people are basing this on? If you are straight or gay, then you like only one gender. Even if living for that long would somehow cause one to become bored with an entire gender, I do not see why anyone would start liking something they don't like just because a lot time has passed. Also, Vex is bi.

He wasn't ruined for me, however the Mark as the truest desire thing was kind of fast, I don't know if he wants mark, but what mark may represent in some ways of things he lost, plus I think Vex, always had a little bit of attraction to Dyson, which I found kind of odd at first because it seems like Dyson kind of wants to kill him, but Vex is Dark Fae, so Dyson's dark side for him may be alluring.

I always hoped for Vex/Kenzie personally lol. That would have been interesting and Bo's reaction would have been priceless. Oh well.

I haven't seen Vex actually come out as gay yet (as I don't have any channels that get this show, I have to rely on when it comes out on DVD, even then, in the US) but...did you SEE him dressed like this?

In my book, this wasn't really that much of a twist. I mean how many heretosexuals do you know that would wear that? I'm not trying to paint stereotypes or insult anyone but...look at what he's wearing!
