shareAwww, snap! Awww, snap!
Come to our macaroni party then we'll take a nap!
"The thing that won't die, in the nightmare that won't end."
You could always watch y'know, actual porn. And Boogie Nights had Julianne Moore and Heather Graham naked in it, that's not bad.
shareMovies about porn are usually anti-porn, so the filmmakers do their best not to titillate by having their attractive stars doing explicit scenes. It's wrong, didn't you know, to find females attractive these days? So very wrong, and hateful, and bigoted, and etc.!
There is a man...he travels fast...he has purpose...he brings violence and destruction.

From what I've seen. They're not explicitly anti-porn, in that they don't come right out and say "this is wrong", but the characters are always portrayed as drug addicts or mentally damaged in some way.

There doesn't seem to be much nudity in movies today period, not just movies about the porn industry. Still tons of violence, of course, but it seems nudity is more scarce. Just an anecdotal observation, I have no statistics.
shareIt's been the long-standing position of the MPAA to weigh sex as more offensive than violence, which is why you're Faroe likely to see the end of a person's life (PG onward) but not the potential creation of one.
sharePaul Thomas Anderson said he had a choice between making a long R-rated movie or a shorter NC-17 one. Story was more important to him so he shot for the R rating. That said, I wouldn't agree that Boogie Nights has "the least amount of nudity." Compared to what? Same goes for Lovelace. If you compare Lovelace to other films about domestic abuse, I think you'll fine that it has more nudity, not less.
I can't recall if there was any nudity in Wonderland, but either way it was a good movie.
Boogie Nights had tons of nudity, that I was pretty grateful for!
"Your mother puts license plates in your underwear? How do you sit?!"
Boogie Nights did have female nudity.
It's that man again!!
