Speaking as a girl, I know a lot of other girls who are dirty, filthy liars. They will do horrible things and then blame a dude and people believe them because they tend to side with a female. Any weirdo who goes into porn has deep psychological issues. Never trust a sex worker or an addict.

Still, all porn stars are sex workers and some of them are addicts, but even within that group Lovelace is an especially despicable prevaricator.
There are three really goods ways to tell if someone is lying: 1. they tell stories that are unbelievably far-fetched and/or make no logical sense, 2. their account is unsupported by any other evidence whatsoever, 3. they constantly contradict THEMSELVES (as my step-father used to say "they'd tell a story ten different ways before they'd lie about it"). Lovelace was guilty, more guilty, and ridiculously fricking guilty on each and everyone of these counts. I don't absolutely KNOW she was lying, but I'm 99.99 percent sure.

Addicts take a lot of brain-altering chemicals that create dependency, which can lead to a skewed sense of priorities. So, no, you probably shouldn't trust them. But sex workers are just people who work in the sex industry.

I was arout in the 70s but I wasn't old enough to see Deepthroat when it came out. I remember me and my friends looking everywhere to find a way to see that movie. Of course, since there was no internet, nor even videos for that matter, we ended up waiting years until we were able to find a way to see it. We instantly became Lovelace fans and went on a quest to look for the remainder of her movies only to be disappointed to find out that she had nothing out there. So I tried to find out a little more about her and basically came across the same information depicted in this movie.
I remember hearing somewhere that she got married and I remember thinking to myself that the man who married her must have been the bravest man in the world; well, maybe not in a war hero sense of the word, but I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to say. I still believe that till today.
And you have to understand that she was facing really dodgy people that were ready to slur her in any way they could. These people have lawyers and whole teams ready to help them deny some of the things she said about them.
She is not a liar. Why do you believe she is?
