Very average for a movie starring both Clooney and Pitt

I can see why they skipped a theatrical release and just sent this to streaming. It has fun moments and Clooney and Pitt are great per usual, but it's surprisingly slow paced and feels dragged out quite a bit. Really needed a stronger script. I expected a lot more for a movie starring these two actors. It reminded me a lot of another recent Apple movie The Instigators which also had two great leads, but the movie itself was super average.

That's how I felt too. It's not a bad movie, but it should have been better with the talent involved. Very average just like The Instigators.

I thought it was just okay. The cast was great, but Paul Walter Hauser needed more screen time.

I thought Instigators was better than this. Both movies were fairly average, but I found that one to be more entertaining and felt more positive about it. Wolfs was slower than I expected and kind of dull.

Yeah, unfortunately, I agree. This seems like a personal project for them just to have an excuse to work together, which is fine. Pitt and Clooney have good chemistry together, but it was fairly low effort in this case.

Yeah that's exactly what it felt like. Just a movie that was an excuse for them to work together. I'm not shocked a sequel is already in the works.

Are you surprised the result is average? Didn't you see Ocean's 11 trilogy? They are either average or bad.

I have to wonder how much better it would have been if it was a Tarantino film.
