This hateful vilain is well depicted in the film.

F1 is pointless now... the politics and rules have made it all but a spec racing league. Every car looks nearly identical, all engines have nearly identical power, the ability to be creative continues to be squeezed out...

yes, mclaren's f-duct, the double diffusers, exhaust blown diffusers, toro rosso's double floor etc etc. innovation is dead

Nobody who like sports car racing or Group C liked him either...they and myself see the 3.5 formula that he helped to introduce, as totally ridiculous, there are plenty of Group C fans who will tell you why.

There are plenty of Porsche fans who see that as a conspiracy to favour the Peugeots like it happened in the early 1970s

It just struck me that Jean Marie Ballestre in the film looked quite a bit like Jean Marie Le Pen. Pity he didn't have a white cat with him.

He was a Nazi. Seriously. He claimed he was working "undercover" during his time with the French SS but oddly he's the only one that was in the know of his secret mission.

what a f-ckwad seriously this balestre guy was. you can see it in this movie.

cant believe noone stopped him. he robbed Senna's 1989 title. and his nazi past.... unbelievable they let him run F-1 after in the '70s his nazi past was revealed.
