Formula One is a revolting business, but Senna is a great story.
I'd been told that even those who have no interest in motor racing would still like Senna, but I was still apprehensive as I actually actively despise Formula One racing.
It's a disgusting, corporate business controlled by the most awful, soul-less white guys. I slightly admire the science that goes into creating these vehicles that whiz round a track but other than that I have nothing good to say about F1.
That said, I still found Senna's story to be a fascinating one. This is a truly great documentary in that it can produce such a compelling story from a world that I hate.
Wonderful use of archive footage and superb editing, Senna was classic storytelling.
