I was watching this movie without much interest until i saw the terra alighting the tram.. the tram caught my attention to which i then realised that it was the tram stop right next to my work place(Collins St near Parliament train station).

a lot of the buildings are from around melbourne.. i noticed a few that were re-badged using CGI, such as the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV).

The "Castle" is actually Ormond College, which is the largest College at the University of Melbourne (Colleges here are kind of just dorms with other fancy perks for students at the University of Melbourne).

Perhaps a fun exercise would be to jump on google map and check out the filming locations on street view. be sure to visit Melbourne if you ever get the chance! Living here all my life, I often forget how beautiful this city is.
