Yes but what isn't better than the Underworld movies..

I don't know why people slag this movie.

Yeah it has a lot of bad special affects. The Gargoyles flying around look awful.
Yes the story does not have any higher meaning or thought provoking message that will change your life.

But who cares?

Aside from the affects, Is it really any worse than the plethora of Superhero movies out there?

I would say this is not nearly as good as the first couple of Blade movies, which this in part borrows from..

However it is better than Van Helsing and the Underworld movies, in the sense that I didn't get bored and fall asleep. I found myself appreciating it not just in a cautionary way.


I like that our hero Adam or is it Frankenstein? knows Escrima stick fighting, He must have made a pit stop in the Philippines in the last 200 years.

Aaron was actually an ok choice for the role.
