What does everybody see is this thing? I mean, it is somewhat entertaining, but it just wasn't that good.

- The Irishman easily gets young hot chicks, without trying (not believable considering what the dude looked like in the film and how old he was.)

- The Irishman has a crappy union job and wants to be the boss. He slaves and gets s*** on until one day he is almost shot. He gets out of this by saying, "lets dance." The next day all he has to do is slap the boss a few times, and BAM! He is the boss of the union!

- The film's CGI is laughable and the camera work is poor.

- It has low budget written all over it. Val Kilmer and Walken being in this is puzzling. I guess they just wanted a quick pay day.

All in all, it doesn't come close to competing with any of the great mafia movies.

I was waiting for this to end halfway through.

You would be surprised how easy it is go get young hot chicks if you have high confidence and power, which is what he had for himself.

He doesn't get shot, he slaps the boss around, and we skip to the point where he is *elected* union boss, you are not shown what happens during that time, so it's not "BAM! boss of the union!"

The CGI was noticeable in a couple of car explosions, but otherwise did not bother me.

The budget was not much, but was fine. I prefer this to other movies with high budget, but look like sh*t, for example "Public Enemies". Val Kilmer and Christopher Walken are B-movie actors now, if you haven't noticed. Every once in a while a movie like this one comes along, which is actually good, not just low budget.

It held my interest the whole time, and I scored it 8/10.
