I can't believe the ending!!

If some guy I was engaged to had turned out to have bullied any of my siblings hells no would I be marrying them! I don't get it, when he says to her that he doesn't care if she was bullied or if she was engaged its the fact that she lied. It well annoyed me! How could Kristin Bells charcter be like oh yeah you always protect us blah blah blah how could he marry her knowing what that girl but her through. She still bore the scars from years of torment from that girl.

She also obviously wasn't sorry. She could of appologised to her in the bathroom and she didn't - they were alone she could of appologised and ask her not to have told her brother. She also through plates at her and dumped that stuff on her head. What Marni did wasn't that bad all she did was show her what she had done in the past. If she's ashamed of it then she shouldn't have done it in the first place.

I know they killed her parents so she'd turned her life around and whatever but I don't have any empathy for her character. She only got what she deserved.

The ending annoyed me she should of been out in the street on her ass, which btw reminds me, after the reception and the groom went missing how would u have the audasity to go to his parents house? Let alone raid there fridge!!

"I know they killed her parents so she'd turned her life around."

That pissed me off. They threw that in as a, "Hey, not only is she a good person who helps people and is sad about a few things she did... BUT HER PARENTS DIED!"
It's a really... REALLY cheap move to make the main character look bad for still hating the character... and even after the fact, after how she hoped her parents forgave her... she still torments this girl.

The brother was just a clueless moron, and the moment he finds out what happened to his sister, and how much of a bitch the girl was, he blames his sister for all of this... so, what I hear is, "Your a bitch for being a two-faced monster, and my sister is a bitch for getting tormented and holding a grudge!"

Were we supposed to like his character? I know I didn't.

"Rhino, you won the coin toss. Will you crush his skull or simply impale his heart on your horn?"

yeah, it was unrealistic..... for many reasons. Marnie forgiving her was probably the only realistic part.

The mother/ aunt story wasnt realistic at all. Unless we're suppose to believe Weavers character was/ is mentally stable.

Not only did the brother get mad at her but also the father. Its just not realistic that any father would watch his little girl go through what Marnie did in the video and side with the future daughter in law.

Not to mention their entire relationship was built on a lie....She pretneded she met him on the beach when its obvious she was in love with him in highschool.

The ending was abysmal, I agree.

This movie had potential. If it had competent writing, they could have convinced us that the bully really had changed. They wouldn't have resulted to cheap cliches like killing off the bully's parents to try to make us feel sorry for her. It didn't work when we found out the bully hadn't really changed after all. And then suddenly did while on her carb binge.

Not even remotely believable.

And what was up with everyone getting mad at Marni? Granted, the video thing might have been a bit dramatic and she probably should have first tried to confront her brother and been totally blown off by him with him accusing her of jealousy or something to give her no other option.

And don't even get me started on what an absurd plot device the video is. WHY would the bully freely admit all of that on the video? How did Marni know that THAT is what the video contained? It's all a bit deux et machina.

Really, an hour later I'm still extremely annoyed and frustrated by this movie. Angry, even. It sends such a terrible message to young people that it's okay to terrorize someone so long as you say you're sorry when you're caught. Revolting.
