two huge missed opportunities in this movie

the movie should have focused on the rivalry between ramona and gail because sigourney weaver is the most talented and versatile actress in hollywood and because and jamie lee curtis doesn't get nearly the attention and roles she deserves. sure kristen bell in super cute and all, but she can't carry the weight of this movie (not to imply that this movie has ANY weight, but you know)

and two: can there be an alternative ending where Marni catches her plane back to new york, forgets that lame excuse for a small town jock of a boyfriend and she The Rock hit it off? who wrote the ending for this movie and why was any other possibility better than having a wedding at a hospital?

a third huge opportunity would have been to make a relevant point on bullying, but I guess this was not that kind of movie. oh well. I laughed a few times.
