Are young women really this competitive?

How vicious are girls really... I mean really.

I know there are women who can bully, but this was over the top.

Maybe the writer was the brunt of cruelty herself and created some unrealistic fantasy for herself.

There were funny moments, but the movie degrades women to no end.

It's been awhile since I was in high school, but from what I remember a lot of girls were like that or worse. Also, from some studies I've read about girls are worse than guys when it comes to bullying in high school.

I actually had that experience more in elementary school than I did in high school. Maybe freshman year of high school was like that. But after sophomore year, everyone generally calmed down. It can vary from school to school though.

I sometimes don't read the bottom of posts because I think it's a signature.

Sadly yes we can be this bad.

Yes. High school was hell & the girls were always 10 times worse than the guys in my school. It sucked to be bullied.

I've only known of one girl who was really awful in high school. She tried to bully me once until I backed her into a corner and told her to back the *beep* up. She never messed with me again or any of my friends. Kids can be mean in school, very mean but girls are not any worse than boys. A boy in my high school locked himself into a room once because he was being bullied by every boy in our grade.

You did well. You need to be political with it and pick your fights to earn respect.

I remember one time this guy asked me out in grade 12 and a girl that liked him took offense at that. She attacked me in the bathroom at school and tried to cut off my hair with a pen knife.

So yeah girls can be pretty mean to each other.

So what Mental Health facility is she at now?

Sadly she's still walking the streets AND she reproduced.

Holy *beep* The worst thing that ever happened to me was a girl overheard a conversation I was having about a friend with the same name as her BFF. She ran and told her friend and they were bitches to me for two weeks until I figured out why. Then they didn't believe me when I tried to explain that I wasn't even talking about their friend, and I didn't even say anything bad.

She made the mistake of calling me out in the lunch line, but shut up when I loudly said "You need to get your ears checked, because I didn't say sh** about your friend, so grow up and stop being such a little b****."

People generally left me alone after that. Good times.

Women AND men act like this, at many ages, not just young.

The girls I went to elementary and junior high with were much worse. And women continue to behave this way to others in the workplace, ect.. Even now, the girls who work with my boyfriend compete against each other at all the social events; ie- trying to look the best, sing the best karoake, dance with the most guys, get the most attention, ect... It is never ending! I am glad that the nasty girls from my past are unattractive and overweight on facebook, and I am the opposite! Woohoo!
