Who else thinks Joanna still hates Marni on the end?

I don't buy the ''On I'm so sorry'' forced apology on the fridge scene. By the way she was verbally lashing out at Marni after the video shown, the throwing dish and the green slim... she seemed angry as hell. She really hated Marni's guts till almost the end.

So suddenly, Joanna gets caught in her lies and Will breaking up with her... then she gets all nice and apologetic to Marni on the fridge scene..BS.

How can you go from hating someone and still bullying them the day before to suddenly claim to be sorry and like them? BS

Inside, I bet Joanna was thinking ''I'll get back at you Marni, don't think I've forgotten what you did to my wedding''. In my opinion, Joanna still hates Marni but she now was to cover it up more in order to not get caught again.

Agreed. Also, there was the scene in the car where Joanna is singing "We are the Champions" (her H.S. bullying theme song) while maliciously eyeballing Marni - establishing that she's still the bully. That, and the OP's points, show why the I've changed/apology/forgiveness ending didn't make any sense and was a fatal mistake.

Well I think it could have been sincere. The after wedding fight was justifiable. She didn't go after Marni she went off probably to calm down but Marni comes to her. Now a normal person would have a temper about their wedding getring ruined but many people also dont like to face their mistakes and so they blame someone else. Sooo that's what made her go crazy and start the fight.

I think when she had time to think she realized that she had all of this coming to her for being so evil. She said by the fridge that she didn't want to admit to what shes done so that the family would never know. Basically just wanting to pretend that ot didn't happen at all. She also acknowledges that she should have apologized as soon as she walked in the door but she made a mistake thinking it would cost her the love of her life.

So I think if it was real that the apology could have been real. Just an ex-bully making mistakes. Ok I'm done over analyzing movies for today

Maybe but the intentions can be badly misinterpreted by then and she's seen as an unremorseful phony by many. This is the same as if a cheater gets caught in the act of screwing someone else and it was actually the cheater's first time and he/she really felt guilty and was planning on telling afterward but they got caught very fast, faster than what they intended to do.

People don't have to say it, they can feel it

I am Tigro, bow down to my greatness.

And she didn't feel sorry not one bit.

When Joanna is forced to spend time with Marni she automatically reverts to her old ways and this time it's even worse. Joanna is older and should know better especially when we find out that her parents have died and she tries to become the person they wanted her to become. It's not like Joanna is still a child or even a teenager.

What I don't get is why doesn't Marni just tell her family who Joanna is and what she and the other rest of the "bitch pack" did to her in college? It's ridiculous to say they wouldn't even believe their own daughter/sister.

Joanna is so sneaky and passive aggressive this time which is even worse than when she was in high school. It was much more open then as Joanna wasn't trying to impress Marni's brother. Joanna kept singing a song to Marni and even gave her a different gift to the other bridesmaids - a necklace that said "MOO". She was such a bitch.

Marni was right to do what she did and Joanna walked off because the spoiled immature girl that she was couldn't believe she didn't get her own way. She couldn't tell any more lies as no-one would believe her. She then took it out on Marni. Picking up the food was so childish and bitchy. She couldn't win her arguement with words so she resorts to a food fight. She might have well as thrown her toys out of the pram.

As I've said before a better ending would be for the brother to realise what Joanna was like and dump her without Marni feeling any guilt about it.

If Joanna had really changed she would have tried to apologise to Marni as soon as she saw her.

Exactly, this.
