2x04, Freddy in therapy
Spoilers of course. Going to call it now, the issue at hand is that he's falling for Eve and feels guilty about it. It's pretty clear he was struggling with that when they were going through Adam's last box. He wants to be with her, but doesn't want to make a move until it seems like they're both ready, she's moving more slowly than him and it frustrates him and makes him feel worse. They'll revisit this by the end of the season so they can get together. There has to be a reason to center an episode around a character who's been dead for a year now, since before the started, that we've never met or even seen a picture of. To us, Adam is an idea/plot device, hardly even an actual character.
