Whats happened to the low rating - Best Scifi Movie in Decades

This is an awesome movie it literally has everything in it for Scifi fans yet so many give it a low rating and negative comments.

For me its almost the perfect Scifi movie - almost as good as Pitch Black.

I still give it 10/10 and I haven't given a movie that in a long time.

Cannot for the life of me understand a 6.3 rating for this awesome movie and all the denigrating comments.

We were talking about the best kill scene in a movie and my pal reckons its the scene in Breaking Bad when Gus gets his but I reckon its the head in a box scene when Riddick kills the Frenchman - absolute class kill!

Vin produced this himself and wrote it etc giving fans what they wanted and its much near perfect as you can get imho.

I'd seriously question the judgement of anyone who rates all three Riddick films higher than both Blade Runner and 2001!!

Good special effects, reasonably exciting mindless action, little sci-fi to make you think, so just a not bad, worth watching kinda film.....

Each to his own.
Let ye who is without judgement cast the first judgement!

Some of us are individuals and dont agree with the common herd!

I am a scifi/horror fan!
You obviously just an anal scifi fan who just goes along with all the other lemmings - wheeeee over the cliff....

I never said 2001 and Bladerunner were bad movies!
Dont assume - It makes an ASS...

A film should only be awarded a perfect 10 if it's superlative in every way. i.e. storyline, acting, soundtrack, photography, editing, etc.

You can't possibly tell me any of the Riddick films fulfill the criterion required to be awarded a top score? No way. And I didn't assume anything. I just checked the scores you gave relative to films regarded in much higher esteem universally.

Is the OP on a wind up? This film was gash, neither of the sequels come close to Pitch Black either.
