I felt like all the characters were just kind of "there" in this film - in the end credits they tried showing little funny clips of them and it didn't work. I was interested in this movie for Portman, but the film was all over the place from the start, and the plot got dumb the moment they revealed Kutchers dad was dating his ex-gf. It didn't have a rom-com feel, there were a couple moments that were quirky...I just lost interest, I'm disappointed. I wonder if Friends w/ Benefits is better?

Between the two, I liked FWB a lot more.

Forgettable, but a strangely decent watch.

On my scale of rating 'not bad but not good' would be a 5. But I gave it a 7, 'enjoyed and will watch again'. I wonder how much a film's ratings are affected by our different scales - or maybe it all just averages out.
