Will Smith didn't do a song because his son didn't get cast in this?

This is the first Men in Black film in which Will Smith does not have a song on the movie's soundtrack. Will had suggested that he and his son Jaden Smith should perform the main song for the end credits, but this idea was rejected by director Barry Sonnenfeld, who did not want Jaden involved in the film. Upset at this decision, Will decided not to record the main title track at all, even on his own. This created an opportunity for Pitbull, who ended up releasing 'Back in Time' as the main song for the movie.

That is such BS. Will Smith loves his son, fine, but this is rank nepotism. And Jaden was too old for young J anyway, Cayen Martin was a way better choice.

Worked out for the best as the Pitbull song was better than either of Smith's efforts in the first two movies.

Nope, the songs used in MIB 2 and 3 were horrid.
But then Barry has a habit of using crap songs, he did it in both Addams family movies.

Only the original MIB song is worth our time.

Will Smith did his own music at least.

Cant remember the second one, but I liked the first one.

Back in time is nice too but much credit for that doesnt go to Pitbull.
