If boris dies in the 1969 then how can he be alive in the future and past?
For Will Smith character how did his dad die and then tommy kept that secret from him? In the past Tommy never know his dad or did he?

Didn't J say his dad wasn't there, which is consistent. So he might have died the first time also, when K deployed the Arc Net the first time.
