First time watching this movie on demand Xfinity, and I was pleased to see how the special effects have evolved. The movie was edited and curse words dubbed. I will purchase this movie on Blu-ray.

True! If there is one aspect this third entry improved over the first two movies (in my opinion), it’s the effects. A good amount of the more practical stuff in the previous ones holds up, but this one has significantly better effects all over.
shareLots of insane (but very cool-looking) zoom ins/outs with the camera too (cinematographer was Bill Pope, of Matrix fame). I believe they only did that once in MIB1 and that was already mind-blowing back then. There's a ton of those massive zooms in this one.
Watching this in 3D is a huge bonus. Seeing Will Smith jump off a skyscraper or the fight next to the space shuttle was exhilarating. And yes the practical effects were well done. Boris the Animal wasn't exactly nice to look at, but the effects for his face and hands looked good.
