Jetpacks + Griff

Why was Griff so exited to ride in a jetpack when he was going to use his fifth dimensional-ness (haha) to show up in Florida without it? He clearly disappears after they take off, and you don't see his jetpack touch down like the others. He just walked out from behind J's jetpack.

I didn't think he had his own jet pack. I recall him getting on the other side of one of two.

He must like the ride, and all the scenery, plus experiencing it all with K and J.

FYI, it's about 920 miles from NYC to Cape Canaveral. The Apollo's rocket was launched at 9:32 AM. They must have left in time to get there plus some lead time. Anyway, at a speed of 100 mph it would be a 9+ hour trip, gasping for air all the way. There must have been some kind on retractable enclosure that we don't see onscreen. Then they could go faster and get there in about 2 hours.

Ah ha, okay! That makes much more sense. The way the scene was shot it looked like he was getting into his own jetpack. And good info about the trip, I was actually curious about that, too. Thanks :)
